Sea Islands Men’s Faith & Fellowship is a book-based, discussion group exploring Christian thought and life. Our aim is to foster a group where men choose meaningful books that allow for enriching conversations about faith and life.
Group goals:
- To provide an open, respectful conversational approach rather than a structured or lecture-driven study.
- To be Christian, but non-denominational and welcoming to a range of perspectives, including those who ask questions, think deeply, and desire to engage in thoughtful dialogue.
- To be an outreach and opportunity for men in our sea island communities who are drawn towards deepening their spiritual lives and commitment to God, even though they may not presently be members of any particular faith community or whose faith may be challenged.
We gather at Seabrook’s Lake House on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:30 in the Eagle’s Room. Gate passes can be arranged for those living off Seabrook.
A sampling of the texts we read include The War for Middle-earth by Joseph Loconte, The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, and The Everlasting Man by G.K. Chesterton.
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, please join us and feel free to invite someone else who might be interested. No pressure, just come when you can. Bring your coffee or tea and we will often provide a goodie to enjoy together! Any questions or want to be added to our contact list for announcements of upcoming books? Just drop a line to Andy Grimalda at amgrimalda@gmail.com
