The Maintenance Department is located at 2902 B Seabrook Island Road, and is responsible for the general maintenance of SIPOA property and facilities. This includes:

This is a very broad scope of work, and we are fortunate to have a maintenance staff with a diverse set of skills that allow them to address tasks that arise, but also look forward and stay ahead of maintenance issues before problems occur.

Gary Brown
Gary has been with SIPOA since 2015. His primary responsibilities are focused on the maintenance of SIPOA building facilities. Gary also assists with the operation and maintenance of SIPOA stormwater pump station facilities. gbrown@sipoa.org

Duaine Collins
Duaine has been with SIPOA since 2010, and is responsible for pest control at SIPOA facilities. Duaine works directly with contractors for landscaping-related tasks, and manages special projects as well as the recycling and trash area.

Jonathan Jones
Jonathan was hired by SIPOA in 2019, but has been working on SIPOA pools for over 10 years. Jonathan is responsible for maintaining all three of SIPOA’s pools, and he assists with other building maintenance tasks.

Larry Swails
Larry began working for SIPOA in 1997, and has served our community for over 25 years. Larry is responsible for helping keep our landscape lighting, irrigation, and stormwater system maintained.

John Scrughan
John joined SIPOA in 2024. He has an extensive background in building maintenance. He is proficient in mechanical and electrical systems and is a licensed HVAC technician. He also helps maintain signage and install mailboxes.
