The Seabrook Island Property Owners Association (SIPOA) represents the interests of all Property Owners within the Seabrook Island Development.

- A volunteer Board of Directors elected by Property Owners, determines policy

- SIPOA professional staff manages the association and facilities

Board of Directors
SIPOA is governed by a twelve-member elected volunteer Board of Directors who serve three-year terms.
POLICY GOVERNANCE | SIPOA adopted a Policy Based Governance structure in 2010. The Board is the governing body of the association and represents the interests of all Property Owners. The Board, with committee input, makes major policy decisions. Policies are implemented by staff who are also responsible for the daily operations of the association.
GOVERNING DOCUMENTS | The SIPOA governing documents are the foundation for all actions of the association. The documents include the Protective Covenants, Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and SIPOA Policies.

COMMITTEES | SIPOA bylaws establish ten standing committees. Committees serve in an advisory capacity to the Board and are composed of Board and volunteer members assisted by SIPOA staff.
