– To all Seabrook Island Property Owners:
The Seabrook Island July 4th parade is a long-standing tradition. Each year, both the number of parade participants and parade spectators increase. To keep our tradition fun for all, this year there will be an added emphasis on SAFETY.
Why SAFETY? We have many young children (youth and preteens) on bicycles leading the parade, as well as an increasing number of LSVs full of families with young children who are celebrating July 4th.
So this year, the intentional parade lineup will have a DRY section at the beginning. All parade participants who would like to be DRY will comprise the first part of the parade. That would be the TOSI mayor, followed by bicycles, and those LSVs and cars that want to be DRY.
The Johns Island Fire Engine signals the end of the DRY section and the beginning of the WATER PARTY. All parade participants who want to wet and get wet will follow the fire engine.
We need the help of all Seabrookers to make the 2023 parade the best one ever. Please do your part and share this news with friends and neighbors.
10:30am – 12:30pm | After Parade Party with Jump Castle & Slide
– Lake House
11:00am – 4:00pm | Art Show
– Live Oak Hall: Fine art artists and craft artisans from the Seabrook Island Artist Guild will be showing their beautiful and useful products. All items are for sale with some of the proceeds being donated to St. John’s High School Art Department. While you are out for the always festive parade and after-parade reception, be sure to come by the show. It will be great!
